Acidfinky [Twisting Knobs]
DJ - Travels from Berlin, GERAcidfinky is a German/Amazigh-Algerian DJ and producer based in Berlin. Drawing from her Algerian heritage and upbringing in France, she blends diverse musical lineages into genre-fluid sets spanning Downtempo, Experimental, Dub, Leftfield bass, and Dubstep. What she calls “crispy sounds”: strong basslines, sharp drums, and textured rhythms across tempos and styles.
With a deep commitment to vinyl and an ear for cultural nuance, her approach to DJing combines sonic exploration with political consciousness. A founding member of the feminist collective BLVSH, she actively supports FLINTA* artists through open decks, workshops, panels, and community-driven events.
She also runs Maison Sot, an interdisciplinary event series between Berlin and Cairo that brings together music, performance, and visual arts to foster cross-cultural exchange.
Through her DJ sets, productions, radio shows, and collective work, Acidfinky brings a distinct sense of identity, independence, and political intention to the electronic music scene.
