Acidfinky [Twisting Knobs]

Acidfinky is a German-Algerian DJ and producer who grew up in France. Currently based in Berlin, she holds a residency at Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg.

Something of a talent to surface from the pandemic, it was these years, she shares, that her love for music and her strict vinyl-only approach to DJing took hold. Not looking back since her debut at Paloma Bar in March 2022 - Acidfinky has become a staple in the Berlin circuit and is no stranger to clubs like OHM, Globus, Renate and OXI to Krake Festival and other underground and independent events.

A founding member of the feminist collective BLVSH - a platform and network dedicated to promoting FLINTA-talents - Acidfinky is an active community leader and inspiration to a new generation taking to the clubs. She regularly gives vinyl-mixing and production workshops, panel talks, curates multidisciplinary events and hosts open decks sessions for newcomers.

In 2023 she founded her own label Twisting Knobs Records - releasing a full spectrum of dance music taking in breaks and electro to experimental, dub and leftfield - while seeing her own productions make it further afield to labels like KANN, Tread and a clutch of other independent crews.

With her sets to be discovered on platforms like Refuge Worldwide, Rinse FM and Mutant Radio to her residency at THF: Acidfinky bridges the gap between nostalgic, retro-active sounds and cutting edge club sonics.
