Acidfinky [Twisting Knobs]

DJ - Travels from Berlin, GER

Acidfinky is a German/Amazigh-Algerian DJ and producer based in Berlin. Drawing from her Algerian heritage and upbringing in France, she merges diverse musical lineages into genre-blending sets that span Downtempo, Experimental, Dub, Leftfield bass, and Dubstep. It is what she calls “crispy sounds”: strong basslines, sharp drums, and catchy textures woven across tempos and styles.

With a deep commitment to vinyl and an ear for cultural nuance, Acidfinky’s approach to DJing is rooted in both sonic exploration and political consciousness. Her work often reflects a drive to amplify underrepresented voices, celebrating hybridity and resistance through sound. A founding member of the feminist collective BLVSH, she is actively engaged in supporting FLINTA* talents through open decks, workshops, panel talks, and multidisciplinary events.

She is also the founder of Twisting Knobs Records, an independent label releasing a wide spectrum of dance music —from Breaks and Electro to Experimental and Dub— while her own productions have appeared on labels like KANN, Tread, and other underground imprints.

A resident at THF Radio, she has become a staple of Berlin’s alternative club circuit, playing venues such as OHM, Tresor, OXI, and at festivals like Nachtiville. Whether through her DJ sets, radio shows, or collective work, Acidfinky brings a clear sense of identity, independence, and political intention to the electronic music scene.
